Olympic Champions Embrace Kongpo Culture in Xizang
Recently, Olympic champions including table tennis legend Ma Long, diver Long Daoyi, badminton player Chen Qingchen, boxer Li Qian, rhythmic gymnast Guo Qiqi, and artistic swimmers Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi visited Lulang Township in Nyingchi City, Xizang. During their visit, they engaged in the traditional Kongpo sport of archery, the whistling arrows (Xiangjian). Later accompanied by cheerful music, the champions joined locals in performing the Gorchom circle dance hand in hand. Under the bright sun of the snowy plateau, hearts came closer in joyful exchange. This gathering not only elevated the Chinese sportsmanship but also sowed seeds of ethnic unity through cultural interaction.
